Perry Mason necklace from the Gardner estate. A one of kind item obtained from the estate of Jean Gardner years ago, the wife of Erle Stanley Gardner. Gardner originally practiced law here and wrote the first three Mason books here. Jean Bethel, later Jean Gardner. Was the inspiration for Della Street in the Perry Mason books.
The necklace is composed of hollow silver balls, about thirty and is approximately ten inches long. The initials are for Jean Bethel. This necklace was somehow related to the tv show but in what capacity I do not know. Some of the silver balls have dents. This was worn and an unusual item from Gardner's estate.
